Italian Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz. frozen hamburger patty
  • 1 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1 oz. thinly sliced salami
  • 2 slices (1⁄2 oz. each) mozzarella cheese
  • 1 hamburger bun, horizontally cut in half and toasted
  • 1 oz. marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp. diced sport peppers

Directions

  • 1. Cook hamburger patty on flat top grill to desired doneness.
  • 2. Remove patty from the grill; top with pepperoni, salami and cheese slices.
  • 3. Place under salamander to melt cheese.
  • 4. Spread marinara over bottom half of bun, top with layered burger patty and
  • sport peppers.
  • 5. Cover with top of bun and serve.
  • Variation:
  • Substitute 2 slices cooked and drained peppered bacon for the salami before adding cheese to the cooked burger patty. Continue according to recipe.
